Logan Flannery

Founder/President

Logan Flannery is a dedicated professional whose personal journey has fueled his commitment to supporting student-athletes facing significant health challenges.

During his junior year of high school, Logan—a three-sport athlete—underwent surgery to remove what was initially thought to be a benign cyst under his left arm. The diagnosis, however, revealed Burkitt’s lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the lymph nodes. He spent the summer before his senior year undergoing chemotherapy and was declared cancer-free just in time for the first football practice of the season. Returning to the field, Logan faced new physical challenges and recognized the lack of tailored support for athletes recovering from serious illnesses. This realization became the driving force behind The Goliath Project, a mission-driven initiative designed to empower student-athletes affected by cancer.

Logan continued his academic and athletic career at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing and Finance. His professional path has spanned roles in sales and account management, leveraging his strong interpersonal skills and business expertise. Currently, Logan serves as Chief Financial Officer at Regalo International, where he focuses on fostering client relationships and driving business growth.

Through his personal resilience, professional leadership, and dedication to The Goliath Project, Logan remains committed to empowering others and creating a supportive community for student-athletes facing life’s toughest challenges.

Taylor flannery

Co-founder

Taylor grew up in a close-knit community of northern Minnesota, where small-town values and a love for the outdoors shaped her early years. Her passion for helping others led her to the Twin Cities, where she pursued a career in nursing. Taylor attended Bethel University in St. Paul, balancing her academic pursuits with her love for athletics. As a dedicated member of the women’s basketball team, she played four years of collegiate basketball and earned the title of Conference Player of the Year in her senior season—an achievement that reflected her leadership, discipline, and team spirit.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Taylor embarked on her professional journey, driven by her desire to provide compassionate care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. It was also at Bethel where she met her husband, Logan. Together, they have built a life centered around family, faith, and community, raising their three energetic and joyful boys.

Outside of her professional life, Taylor enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and exploring new destinations through travel. Her love for connecting with others and embracing new experiences continues to shape her perspective both personally and professionally.

Kaitlyn serves as the Director of Development for The Goliath Project, working closely with athletes, their families, and gyms to support the organization's recipients. She also assists with fundraisers, social media, and events that further the mission of empowering youth cancer survivors.

Kaitlyn holds a bachelor's degree in Biokinetics with an emphasis in exercise science from Bethel University. Her passion for fitness and community-building drives her commitment to helping young survivors regain strength, confidence, and connection through movement and mentorship.

My passion for supporting young athletes stems from understanding the strength and resilience it takes to overcome life’s toughest challenges. While I haven’t faced cancer personally, I’ve witnessed how community, encouragement, and movement can be powerful tools for healing and growth. Being part of The Goliath Project allows me to combine my love for fitness with a deep commitment to empowering youth survivors—helping them rediscover their strength and confidence both in and out of the gym.
